About the Role
As a Pizza Maker, you will be responsible for preparing, baking, and presenting our signature pizzas with precision and flair. You will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that every pizza is made to perfection, maintaining our high standards for taste and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare pizza dough and toppings according to our recipes and standards.
- Assemble pizzas with creativity and attention to detail.
- Operate pizza ovens and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure that the kitchen area is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service during busy periods.
- Assist in inventory management and ordering of ingredients as needed
- Engage with customers to provide an exceptional dining experience.
Requirements
Qualifications for the Position of Pizza Maker!
Experience: At least 2 years in a pizza-making or similar culinary role. Proficient in using knives and kitchen utensils for food preparation
Attention to Detail: Capability to accurately follow recipes and uphold high-quality standards.
Fast-Paced Environment: Strong organizational skills and ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen setting.
Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and contribute to a positive team environment.
Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
Food Safety Certified: Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques. Safe Food Handling certification required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification is preferred.
Available evenings and weekends and holidays (May -September)
